If you enjoy a classic margarita and love drinks with a little fizz, you will adore Peach Paloma. It gets its tart flavor from grapefruit soda and fresh lime juice. The peach adds a touch of fruity sweetness. Use your finest tequila for this swanky cocktail, or mezcal for those who fancy a spicier drink. Dress it up by rimming your glass with the classic margarita salt or with chili-flavored Tajin.
2 OZ (4 TBSP) MEZCAL OR TEQUILA
0.5 OZ (1 TBSP) PEACH PUREE
0.25 OZ (1 WEDGE) LIME JUICE
5 OZ Q MIXERS GRAPEFRUIT SODA
Chill a cocktail glass by placing it in the freezer for 5 minutes.
Squeeze the juice from fresh limes using a citrus reamer.
Pour the alcohol, peach puree, and lime juice in one shaker with ice cubes.
Shake for about 25 seconds.
Rim the cocktail glass with margarita salt or Tajin. Strain the cocktail into it.
Pour in the grapefruit soda. Stir gently to combine.
Garnish with lime.
